An active and working Alpaca farm producing high quality full Peruvian Huacaya stock. Come and see why Walkapaca Farm is your one and only “Southern Peruvian connection!”
Walkapaca
Farm was born in 2006 with the purchase of two alpacas. Jeanie Zirrolli, part
owner, was inspired by a fomer worker from the hospital in which she worked.
The worker was Dr. Bill Vickers, whose mother was Nel Vickers of Maplewood
Farm in Michigan. The Vickers were instrumental in importing the first Peruvian
alpacas into the country in 1993 and 1994. Clare Rocheford and Jeanie Zirrolli
are pleased to have purchased many wonderful import females and an AOBA National
Champion herdsire from Maplewood Farm in order to build a foundation herd.
We are pleased and feel blessed to share in God’s beautiful creature “The
Alpaca.”
Also on the farm there are Tennessee Walking horses, Anatolian shepherds, dogs, cats, and the Hollywood pigs, Pudgy & Jelly.
